OK, I’m not getting that whole political thing of Great Britain (including Northern Ireland) and the Republic of Ireland. I really just like this song, Sunday Bloody Sunday. It is one of my favorite songs and by my absolute favorite band (although Traffic is certainly a close second). Anyway, without further ado, U2:

For my inaugural Music Monday post, I offer you “Fisherman’s Blues” by The Waterboys! They are a band near and dear to me. When I was in college (back in the day), one of my roommates was in a band called Big Sky, with Peter Mulvey. Anyway, they did an amazing cover of this song.
